Onebox is operated by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and its global affiliates (hereinafter referred to as Huawei). This Privacy Statement (hereinafter referred to as the Statement) is applicable to information collected and used by Onebox (hereinafter referred to as We or Application). Before downloading, installing, or using the bundled third party software or application, please read the privacy statement of the third party.
Onebox is a data storage platform for all Huawei employees. It provides online services such as business data backup, synchronization, management, and sharing. The detailed functions include but are not limited to the following:

When you use the Application, we will collect information about the Application, including log information, your W3 account, client IP address, MAC address, and computer name. The log information may include access date and time, functions that you use and browse, and application faults.
The main purpose of information collection by the Application is to provide secure, smooth, effective, and customized user experience. The Application collects and uses or delegates third-party service providers to collect or use your personal data upon your approval or as necessary, for the following purposes:

We will not provide your personal information to third parties (companies other than Huawei and Huawei affiliates) through selling, leasing, or trading, or by other means, without your consent, except in the following scenarios or as required by applicable laws.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We use appropriate physical, management, and technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. For example, we use cryptographic technologies for data confidentiality, protection mechanisms to prevent attacks, and access control mechanisms to permit only authorized access to your personal information. We also provide training on security and privacy protection for employees to raise their awareness of personal information protection. Huawei is committed to protecting your personal information; however, please note that no security measure is perfect.
We will retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy, unless otherwise extending the retention period is required or permitted by law. The data storage period may vary with scenario, product, and service. The criteria Huawei uses to determine the retention period are as follows: the time required to retain personal information to fulfill the business purposes, including providing products and services, maintaining corresponding transaction and business records, controlling and improving the performance and quality of products and services, ensuring the security of systems and the Application, protect Huawei information security and other property, handling possible user queries or complaints, and locating problems, internal audit, external compliance and investigation cooperation; whether the user agrees to a longer retention period; and whether the laws, contracts, and other equivalencies have special requirements for data retention; etc.
As a global company, your personal information collected by Huawei may be processed or accessed in the country/region where you use our products and services or in other countries/regions where Huawei or its affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers or business partners have presence. These jurisdictions may have different data protection laws. In such circumstances, Huawei will take measures to ensure that data is processed as required by this Policy and applicable laws. When transferring your personal information from the EU to another country or region, we are legally entitled to do so if the country has been acknowledged by the EU commission as having an adequate level of data protection or if we use one of a variety of legal mechanisms to ensure that your personal information is adequately protected, such as signing standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission or implementing security measures like anonymizing on the personal data before cross-border data transfer. There are also other circumstances in which we can transfer your personal information, such as if we obtain your consent to the cross-border transfer. It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal information submitted to Huawei is correct. Huawei is dedicated to maintaining the accuracy and completeness of personal information and keeping the data up-to-date.
To the extent required by applicable law, you may have (i) the right to access certain personal information we maintain about you, (ii) the right to request that we update or correct inaccuracies in that data, (iii) the right to object or restrict to our use of your personal information, and (iv) the right to ask us to delete your personal information from our database etc. To exercise these rights, please contact us through the contact information in this Statement. Your written request may be required for security. The law may entitle us to decline or restrict our response to the request but we will explain our reasoning if we do not fully comply with the request.
If allowed by applicable laws, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time when Huawei processes your personal information based on your consent. However, the withdrawal does not affect the legitimacy and effectiveness of our processing of your personal information based on your consent before the withdrawal is made and nor does it affect any data processing based on another justification other than your consent.

Huawei reserves the right to update or change this Statement at any time. We will release the latest Statement in the Application for any changes. If major changes are made to the Statement, we may notify you via different channels, such as by posting a notice through the Application or sending you direct notification.
